Zee blog gets zee freshest coat of paint: You may have noticed it...or you may be a man. (Typical). In any case, I spent some time over the last few evenings sprucing up the Joel Wayne blog. Just a cut and a dye, really, but hoping it turns a few heads. 

Best in show: The slowest of slow claps for Oliver Russell & Associates for their best-in-show showing (among other trophies) at the 2015 Rockie Awards. My dear Siggy accepted the award with great aplomb (though I'd been feeding her drinks all night) and I couldn't be more proud. (Evidence above).

And on the side-mirror, hung a hook: It probably won't be spooky but I'm very excited about getting invited to read a story for folks (and Radio Boise) at The Modern's Campfire Stories series. Now if I can just figure out which story to tell...

Wu wine is for the mothers: A wonderful time was had by all as my aunt and uncle, younger sister, brother and sister-in-law, niece, father, and my generous, eccentric, wine-loving, and hilarious ma ventured out to sunny slope for Mother's Day. Specifically, Hell's Canyon/Zhoo Zhoo Winery, which hosted a tasting, food truck, Scottish folk soiree, and a setting fit for the south of France.
